Emma Williams is a freelance performer and teacher. She taught at the Junior Royal Academy of Music for five years before performing commitments took over and currently teaches at the Latymer School (North London). She has coached the National Youth Chamber Orchestra, National Children’s Wind Orchestra and National Children’s Chamber Orchestra. Emma gives annual Masterclasses in Kuwait and runs an annual flute weekend for adult flautists at Hawkwood College (10-12 Oct 2008).

Emma has worked with the RTE National Symphony Orchestra, Northern Sinfonia, English National Ballet, Galliard Ensemble and the National Theatre Orchestra. She has recently recorded a new CD with harpist Hugh Webb of Nino Rota’s chamber music called “The Sacred Heart of Nino Rota”  for Zitto Music Ltd. Emma is a member of the chamber group Ensemble Lumière with whom she has recorded a CD of wind and piano chamber music by Cecilia McDowall.
