Live recording of New York minimalist composer Julius Eastman's "Stay On It"

It was fun to record the groovy New York minimalist composer Julius Eastman's "Stay On It" (1973) at the London Contemporary Music Festival 2016 with chamber group Apartment House and singer Elaine Mitchener.

Apartment House's Anton Lukoszevieze explains "This version of Stay On It is based loosely on a score transcription made by Paul Pinto, from an archive recording of Julius Eastman performing the work. The work is a structured improvisation and exemplifies a strong Caribbean influence and also a joyful, hedonistic sense of musical abandon."
